Yesterday, I hosted the second Daydreamer Brunch of the year! After the success of the gorgeous brunch in Glasgow, the teams at Town House Collection and Debenhams approached me about holding a brunch in Edinburgh, this time at The Bonham hotel. How could l refuse?
The Bonham laid out an enormous spread of smoked salmon bagels, pain au chocolat and croissants, with cheese and meat and fruit (so beautiful it looked false, but tasted deeelish), with tea, coffee and orange juice to wash it all down. We took it in turns to ask questions/chew – the brunch is a way for me to spend time with the blogging community because, being based in Dundee, it’s not often that I have the opportunity to chat to fellow bloggers when I see them at various events in Edinburgh (or Glasgow). We had a good chat, exchanging blogging stories and goals and discussing the upcoming festivities (for which The Bonham looked beautiful – just look at that mantelpiece!).
After brunch, we had a good look at the Christmas collection at Debenhams, which included a perfect balance of fluff and cosiness (Victoria’s Secret style PJs, super soft dressing gowns and fur gilets/jackets) and sparkle and shine (a flared satin skirt, glitzy dresses and a very blingy, crystal encrusted box clutch). We were also treated to make up application by the super talented and super bubbly girls from Urban Decay at the Debenhams Princes Street store.
I had such a lovely morning with the Edinburgh bloggers and met some great girls with great blogs. I’ll be Tweeting them, so stay tuned to my Twitter account (@The_Daydreamer_) to find out who came along! Of course, we were spoiled with awesome goody bags (again) containing products by Ishga, Urban Decay and Ole Henrikson, along with the brand new Christmas fragrance at Timeless Candles, and a sample of Skinny Tea (everyone loves it for a good detox) with flavours such as Jasmine Blossom, Summer Berry Jam, Peaches and Cream and Ice Cream!
I’d like to say a huge thanks to all the bloggers who came along to brunch, and to The Bonham and Debenhams for their hospitality and treats.
The food looks amazing! I reckon you should host one in Aberdeen next 😉
