Outfit Post: LBD in the Rain

You know how much I love a little black dress and this one from M&Co is really great for many reasons. Let me tell you why I love it.

1) It’s a simple, classic shape that will suit most figures – round neck, sleeveless (looks great with a crew-neck cardi for anyone who doesn’t like their arms) and a flattering a-line skirt.

2) The fabric doesn’t crease, so you don’t have to worry about sitting on the bus to work for half an hour and turning up to the office a crumpled mess, or manic Monday mornings getting dressed after a weekend of no ironing.

3) It’s seasonless – this LBD works for summer with no jacket and bare legs, or for winter with boots and a jumper, so you can enjoy it all year round.

4) At just £35 it’s a bargain.

5) It’s great for daytime but will also take you from the office to dinner with the simple addition of a statement necklace, which looks great against black high neckline.

If you need a basic, staple LBD for your wardrobe, now is the time to shop at M&Co!
(PS – it also comes in red!)

Did you know?
M&Co asked me to style this dress for their “outfit of the day” feature on their Twitter page, alongside Helen of Coco Mama Style. Helen styled her dress for day, and our two looks show that there are loads of ways to wear the classic LBD.
