What’s not to love about a fair isle knit? They’re a no-brainer for any wardrobe – festive without being gimmicky, practical but not boring, the fair isle sweater can be worn all winter long. She looks particularly good at Christmastime, but she’s also quite at home under quilted coats for countryside walks after the holidays. Dressing down is easy with leggings and cosy slippers, but you can dress her up too, maybe by tucking her into a pair of blue jeans and pushing the sleeves up for a more stylised approach, maybe some heeled boots. Honestly, the sartorial opportunities that come with a good fair isle knit are endless and, in my opinion, Brora has the best selection.
