Helen McCrory wins my vote for the best red carpet look at the BAFTA Television Awards on Sunday night. Her full skirted Azagury dress was just the right mix of red carpet glamour and high fashion. (This dress would also have been perfect for the punk themed Met Gala last week). This is the kind of dress I would love to have in my wardrobe and I’d probably go to great lengths to ensure it’s place there, given half the chance. The silhouette is classic and feminine, while the printed organza makes it bold and dramatic – it’s little wonder Jacques Azagury has dressed so many A-list celebrities for red carpet appearances.
