The Daydreamer’s current AW12 obsession is Frida Giannini’s glamorous goths. The army of goth models walked the runway in shades of berry and black, with texture coming in the form of tulle and raven-esque feathers. Make up (by Pat McGrath) was ghostly pale, with defined cheek bones and bleached eyebrows enhancing the focal point: the blood stained, berry lip.
I have the perfect lippy for creating the look; Tanzanite by Aveda. However, despite having tried the look in the privacy of my own home, I have yet to be brave enough to work it in public. My dream Glam Goth outfit would be all black (think leather leggings, chiffon blouse, pointed courts) topped off with my feather cape and Aveda lipstick. For now though, I’ll pour over the Gucci runway shots on Style.com, leaving Tanzanite stains on my tea cup.
