Don’t you just love this time of year? The sky is blue, the leaves are golden and crunch underfoot, while the trees shine beneath the weak sun in beautiful shades of bronze, rust and cranberry. It’s so pretty and there seems to be a certain peace that comes from autumn. Perhaps it’s from the calm manner in which the leaves gracefully drop from the trees to land on the ground to make a natural, enchanting carpet for the nocturnal animals that venture out after dark. Everything about autumn is magical and special. In some ways, I wish it would never end, but I suppose that would take some of the magic away.
