Wednesday was spent in Estepona, Spain, so this Red Herring summer dress was an obvious option for dinner with my handsome husband. He went down to the bar while I freshened up, and when I walked in he told me how pretty I looked. He went so far as to say that I always look pretty, but especially so that evening! How wonderful is he? There wasn’t much different about me (other than a hint of a tan) than any other day, so I reckon it was the dress he liked! He did say it was a lovely dress and actually convinced my to buy it from Debenhams – he didn’t have to twist my arm.
I’m a massive fan of dresses and this is probably my favourite summer dress on the high street this summer. It’s a replica of the Temperley dress I blogged about a few weeks ago and it’s another Debenhams outfit that will work for day or evening. I wore the dress with wedges and a raffia clutch for the evening but it would work equally as well with flat sandals and a white leather tote during the day. It’s incredibly light and airy so would be a good one for your summer holiday, but equally, there’s enough fabric that it won’t look out of place during our Scottish summer – albeit, with a light jacket or cardigan!
