If there’s anything the past month has taught me, it’s to appreciate the little things in life… family breakfast time, 10am coffee break, runs with the dog (did I mention I ran my first 10k at the weekend?), a nice glass of Pinot Noir come 5pm on Friday (or 4pm on Tuesday, oops).
I decided to dress up in my new Zara co-ord last Friday, and I teamed it with red tasseled heels and a lipstick to match my wine. It didn’t last long, the shoes came off as soon as the camera was set aside, but it felt nice to put on something other than jeans or leggings and remind myself that the joy of fashion will return one day. I might, like so many others, start dressing up on Fridays just for fun.
Meantime, I’ll continue feeding my newfound love affair with interiors through online browsing – spending so much time at home has given me a lot of ideas and a wishlist as long as my arm.
