I adore summer neutrals, don’t you? I love to see shades of dove grey, blush pink, pale violet and creamy biscuit worn with shimmering metallics and the odd flash of colour. So, I decided to team one of my most comfortable t-shirts with this Zara skirt and TK MAXX handbag. The look was primarily neutral, so I layered some colourful necklaces and added a pair of amazing wedges by Mary Portas for Clarks (Mary & Clarks).
It was such a lovely summer day; my outfit kept me cool outside but kept off the chill in the air conditioned office and felt just right for a relaxed Friday. At lunchtime, we nipped to Broughty Ferry for Visocchi’s ice cream – French macaron flavour – which matched my necklaces nicely.
The Clarks wedges were my favourite part of the outfit, thanks to the beautiful, soft, grey reptile skin effect leather, complemented by the silver wedge and juxtaposed by the coral heel. A wonderful fusion of colour with neutrals, and what’s more is, these babies are chic enough for day and fun enough for evening. The soft leather and cushioned inner sole also makes them perfect for hour upon hour of summer fun.
