I love a fabulous earring. I’m like a magpie, drawn to anything sparkly, with crystals and colour and bling. I prefer a decadent chandelier, or a conversation starting art deco theme. A pop of bright, jewel colour always goes down well over Christmas and summer. But my ears aren’t pierced, so I often fall in love with a pair of amazing earrings, only to buy them for a friend with my tail between my legs. (Do you think fashion girls will ever love tails like they love ears?)
However, Natalie Massenet, founder of Net-a-Porter and fashion guru extraordinaire, recently suggested I try Kenneth Jay Lane for excellent clip-on earrings. So I took a quick look at the Net-a-Porter sale today (a-maz-ing) and here are my favourites. Aren’t they divine? Totally OTT, totally fabulous, totally necessary.
