I wanted my wardrobe for Marrakech to be reminiscent of the clothes worn by the SATC girls in the second movie. In particular, the scene in which they enjoy a picnic at the dunes, and the scene when they walk, poolside, in single file – dressed to the nines in ocean blues and glimmering gold. Kind of Arabian Nights. It’s the daydreamer in me…. Sadly, this was not the trip for such a wardrobe; unless you actually are the SATC girls, these sorts of outfits aren’t particularly practical! Especially as our time was spent walking and exploring the dusty red city (more to come on Monday). However, I did manage to squeeze in a style post during some sunbathing time on our riad’s roof terrace.

It was quite fun, although the photographer grew grumpy in the heat. 😉 He’s so good at his job that I really can’t complain though. He’s very good to me!
