The sun still has his hat on, but the days are turning cooler…. autumn is such a pretty time of year but it can be difficult to dress between seasons thanks to the varying temperatures Scotland throws at us. Team cosy knits with bare legs, or short sleeves with robust denim and – the oldest trick in the book – layer, layer, layer!
Mummy Daydreamer and I went for afternoon tea today, which was a wee excuse to dress up a bit; I love the drama of the full skirt but chose a casual, fine knit to tone it down for Saturday afternoon. Next month I’ll add a scarf and a cami beneath the jumper for extra warmth, while a flared coat with fur collar will keep this look working through the winter months.
