The athleisure trend is still going strong and, boy, am I taking full advantage! Almost a year ago I blogged about how it was a trend that suited my life as a very new mum and, now that he’s over the year-old mark, life is even busier with work and freelancing and errthing else. So I am quite happily embracing this opportunity to dress in yoga pants, hoodies and trainers without judgement for as long as I can. (Plus, does anyone else agree that workout leggings are the best shape wear?)
Even though I’m dressed in active wear for around 50% of my week, I refuse to spend a lot of money on what is essentially workout gear for lounging around in. Aside from my trainers, this entire outfit is from TK Maxx – the first stop for any active wear. And the Nike’s? Sports Direct. That’s right, the whole lot cost around £100 for three branded items and a pair of leggings – money well spent as I barely taken any of it off all year! What’s more, it means that I can spend that wee bit more when I do decide to buy some clothes that aren’t made of spandex or lycra…
