The trendy shoes that won’t kill your feet

I’m just going to say it: I like comfy shoes. OMG!

Okay, let me explain. I love a high heel as much as the next girl, but I’m now at a stage in life where comfort comes first – I don’t want to suffer sore feet in the name of fashion, those days are loooong gone thanks to two pregnancies and one bunion. That said, I still love pretty shoes. It’s just that, now, I want shoes that feel as good as they look, and I want to know I’ll still be able to wear them in years to come,

These Jones Bootmaker sandals (they’re called Monte Carlo, how fabulous is that?) tick both boxes – stylish but wearable. The padded straps are super trendy right now but they’re really, really soft, while the low block heel gives enough extra height without risking aching or nippy feet at the end of the day. I wore mine with jeans and a linen blazer at the weekend, but they’d also look great with an all-black outfit for work.
